Zoom Guide

Add, use, and remove ZenSchedule for Zoom

ZenSchedule can connect your business to Zoom so bookings can include Zoom meeting links. This page explains how to connect Zoom, enable it on calendars, and remove the connection when you no longer need it.

What the integration does

After Zoom is connected, ZenSchedule business owners can enable Zoom meeting links on individual calendars. New bookings created on those calendars can receive a Zoom join link automatically.

Before you start

  • A ZenSchedule account with access to a business workspace
  • Business owner permissions in that workspace
  • A Zoom account you want ZenSchedule to use for meeting creation

1. Add Zoom to ZenSchedule

  1. 1Sign in to ZenSchedule.
  2. 2Open Settings and go to the Video conferencing section.
  3. 3Click Connect Zoom.
  4. 4If prompted, sign in to Zoom and review the authorization screen.
  5. 5Approve the connection and wait for ZenSchedule to redirect you back to Settings.
  6. 6Confirm that ZenSchedule shows Zoom connected for your business.

2. Use Zoom for bookings

  1. 1Open the calendar you want to use for virtual bookings.
  2. 2Create a new calendar or edit an existing one.
  3. 3In the calendar settings, enable Create a Zoom link for each virtual booking.
  4. 4Save the calendar changes.
  5. 5Share the booking link for that calendar or service as usual.
  6. 6When a client books, ZenSchedule creates a Zoom meeting and includes the join link on the booking confirmation page and in confirmation emails when available.

3. Remove the Zoom connection

  1. 1Sign in to ZenSchedule as the business owner.
  2. 2Open Settings and go to Video conferencing.
  3. 3Click Disconnect Zoom.
  4. 4Confirm the connection is removed from the settings page.

After disconnection, ZenSchedule no longer has an active Zoom account to create new meeting links. Reconnect Zoom or update any calendars that were previously configured to use it.

Troubleshooting

You do not see the Connect Zoom button

Only the owner of the ZenSchedule business can connect or disconnect Zoom for that business.

A booking did not receive a Zoom link

Make sure Zoom is still connected in Settings and that the specific calendar has the Zoom link option enabled before the booking is created.

You disconnected Zoom but some calendars still expect it

Disconnecting removes the Zoom account connection. If a calendar was configured for Zoom, reconnect Zoom or update that calendar before expecting new meeting links.
